We’ve added a lot of upgrades to Hutte recently, including a new member role called an “Integration Manager” who can help you set up your new Hutte project.

New role in Hutte: Integration Manager

You can now invite a team member as an Integration Manager, whose only function is to help set up a Hutte project by linking to a Salesforce Org and a Git repository.

In some organizations, the user setting up Hutte might not have permissions on their Git host to run through the relevant authorization steps. Or you might just want to delegate these project setup steps to your IT department. An Integration Manager is the perfect solution for both of these cases.

Adding an Integration Manager doesn’t add any additional costs to your Hutte plan. You’ll find this option under your “Members” tab. Click on “Invite Integration Manager” to open the invitation dialogue box.

Enter the email address you’d like to send the invitation to, and specify the Hutte project you’d like to add them to.

After you click “Send Invite,” that team member will receive an invitation email with an account creation link.

Following that link will bring them to the account creation screen. Once they’ve set up their login details, they’ll be added to your Hutte project, where they’ll see the two project setup steps in the "Project Settings."

The Integration Manager will only have access to these two project setup steps, where they can link the project to a Salesforce Organization and a Git repository.

Mark your important work items with a 'favorite' star

You can now mark your most important Scratch Orgs and Sandbox features with a 'favorite' star.

This will allow you to find them quickly when filtering your list of work items.

This is particularly useful for users working in larger teams who want to easily keep track of which features they are currently working on. You can mark a work item as a 'favorite' in the list view, or in that item’s detail view. Your favorites are tied to your personal user account and appear only for you.

Custom buttons in dropdown menus will now show descriptions on hover

We’ve made a small improvement to custom buttons in Hutte. If you add a custom button to your project through your Hutte.yml, you’re able to see its description when you hover over it.

If you have more than two or three custom buttons, the 'overflow' buttons will be collected in a drop-down menu on the right-hand side. Previously, there was an issue where these 'overflow' buttons did not show their descriptions when hovering over them. This has now been fixed.

You can add custom buttons by adding a custom script to your project’s Hutte.yml file.
